Chilli Media receives an Appreciation Award from Sungardens Hospice 2022
On Friday 27 May, 2022 we attended an appreciation event at Sungardens Hospice and was recognised as a network partner and a Friend of Hospice.
This event celebrated all the people, volunteers and organizations that support Sungardens Hospice and the good work that they do.
As a network partner, we provide Sungardens Hospice with all the digital marketing services that they need on a continuous basis. It is an honor to be working with such an amazing organization which are doing so many good things in the Pretoria and Mamelodi area.
More About Sungardens Hospice
ungardens Hospice offers a programme of specialized, palliative care to our patients with progressive, far advanced, incurable disease.They also offer support to families.
The majority of out-patients are visited in their homes by experienced, specially trained nursing staff.
Sungardens Hospice offer this service to communities in the Pretoria area (which includes Mamelodi). They are a non-profit organization and receive 95% of our funding from corporate donors, sponsorships, donations as well as income generated by our charity shops.
Hospice recognises dying as a normal process and neither hastens or postpones death. They recognise grief as a normal response to loss and support the families during the bereavement period. (Please read Myths about Hospice). Any patient (with their consent) with progressive, far advanced, incurable disease: Cancer, HIV/AIDS, end stage cardiac failure etc. can make use of our services.
